EN45545-2 for Rail & Mass Transit

Viton™ Sponge Sheeting

J-Flex Viton™ Sponge is a closed cell formulation that is manufactured with a continuous skin on both sides. The skin makes the sheet stronger and more tear resistant and even when the surface skin is punctured or cut; the sheets will not allow the passage of air or fluid between cells.

The non-absorbent sheets are highly compressible, resilient and lightweight and therefore provide good thermal insulation.

J-Flex Viton™ Sponge sheets have a service temperature of -25°C to 204°C, although elevated temperatures while under compression will have an adverse effect on the resilience of this material.

O-Rings − Vulcanised Joined Rings

Whatever your requirements, industrial rubber specialist J-Flex can help with vulcanised joined cord rings (o-rings), that are ideal for sealing exterior lighting, security equipment, control boxes and filtration equipment. In fact any items that need to withstand the elements, wind, rain, cold weather, hot weather and more.

• Viton™ joined rings

• EPDM rings
• Neoprene joined rings

Sponge materials are also available to fill uneven gaps and misalignments.

Vulcanised rings have no upper restrictions on inside diameter.

On larger joints we can achieve tight dimensional tolerances.

The minimum inside diameter limit is 100mm and cross section diameters range from 3mm to 30mm.
