Reliance RWC 8 Litre Aquasystem Potable Expansion Vessel Pre Set 3 Bar - XVES050030

Reliance RWC 8 Litre Aquasystem Potable Expansion Vessel Pre Set 3 Bar - XVES050030

Introducing our stainless steel expansion vessel, specifically designed for potable water applications. The Reliance Valves Aquasystem Replaceable Membrane Potable Water Expansion Vessels are expertly engineered to accommodate the increased pressure that occurs when water is heated and expands in volume. These expansion vessels are essential for maintaining safe operating levels, effectively preventing any pressure build-up in both sealed heating systems and cold water systems. Featuring a replaceable membrane, these vessels ensure that water remains uncontaminated and free from corrosion, making it safe for human consumption. Additionally, the replaceable membrane allows for straightforward servicing without the need for complete removal, ensuring quick and efficient maintenance on-site.

Features and Benefits:

  • Stainless steel bolted flange for enhanced corrosion resistance
  • Extra wide membrane opening minimises noise caused by restricted flow
  • Internal membrane ensures no direct contact between water and the steel shell, preventing internal corrosion
  • Available in a comprehensive range from 2 to 5000 litres, suitable for various applications
  • Each version is supplied with a replaceable membrane, facilitating easy servicing without removal
  • Pre-charge valve for convenient topping up of air pressure

FSDCDFA - Forward Acting Rupture Discs

FSDCDFA - Forward Acting Rupture Discs

The FSDCDFA Forward Acting Rupture Discs are composite conventional discs formed by three parts: a slotted, perforated metal part, a seal membrane (usually in PTFE but also available in many other metallic or non-metallic materials) and a protection section. It is excellent for use with gas and liquids in static conditions and excellent for low pressures. FSDCDFA discs react to excessive pressure with total opening in a few milliseconds without fragmentation. They are therefore recommended for valve protection. Supports may be provided for vacuum or counter-pressure protection. Composite FSDCDFA rupture discs may also be used for simultaneous protection from pressure and vacuum.
