FSSCRS - Sanitary Rupture Discs
The FSSCRS Sanitary Rupture Discs are compression-loaded or reverse-acting discs with micro-scored, petal-shaped sections, featuring 4, 6, or more radial scores for reliable opening. Designed to meet 3-A SSI standards for hygienic equipment, they are ideal for Pharmaceutical, Food, and Biotechnology industries. Constructed from AISI 316L stainless steel (other alloys available), their smooth process-side surface supports C.I.P. and S.I.P. treatments to maintain aseptic conditions. PTFE gaskets (FDA, USP Class VI, 3-A, EU 10/2011 compliant) enable installation in Clamp fittings. Suitable for gas or liquids with a gas cushion, including cycling and pulsating conditions, these discs open fully in milliseconds without fragmentation and can withstand absolute vacuum conditions without supports. Optional PTFE coating adds extra protection.
