FSDCDS - Sanitary Rupture Discs

FSDCDS - Sanitary Rupture Discs

The FSDCDS Sanitary Rupture Discs are designed for aseptic applications, consisting of a slotted, perforated metal section, a seal membrane (commonly PTFE, with other materials available), and a protective layer. Ideal for use with gas or liquids under static or low-pressure conditions, these discs open fully within milliseconds during overpressure events, without fragmentation. They can be fitted with supports for vacuum and counter-pressure protection, allowing simultaneous protection against both. PTFE gaskets certified to FDA, USP Class VI, 3-A, and EU 10/2011 standards make installation in Clamp fittings (sanitary, Tri-Clamp, Tank Connection) simple. The FSDCDS is also suitable for C.O.P. (Clean-Out-Of-Place) applications.

Altecnic / Caleffi 309 Series Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve 1/2

Altecnic / Caleffi 309 Series Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve 1/2" 90°C 7 Bar - 309473CST

The Altecnic / Caleffi 309 Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve - 309473CST is designed to effectively control and limit the temperature and pressure of hot water in domestic storage heaters. This essential safety device prevents water temperatures from exceeding 100°C, thereby eliminating the risk of steam formation. When the system reaches predetermined pressure or temperature thresholds, the valve discharges a sufficient amount of water into the atmosphere, ensuring that both temperature and pressure are maintained within safe operating limits. The valve's mechanism operates as follows: - **Temperature Control:** As the temperature in the storage heater rises, the thermostat compound within the temperature sensor, which is submerged in hot water, expands. This expansion causes a thrust pin to move, actuating the obturator and opening the valve. The valve is set to activate at temperatures exceeding 90°C. - **Pressure Control:** When pressure limits are reached, the obturator, which is opposed by a set spring, lifts and fully opens the outlet. The pressure setting is specifically configured according to the maximum allowable pressure within the system. As temperature and pressure subside, the valve automatically re-closes within designated tolerances.

FSKRDS - Sanitary Rupture Discs

FSKRDS - Sanitary Rupture Discs

The FSKRDS Sanitary Rupture Discs are a compression-loaded disc or reverse-acting disc, scored around the circumference. This disc has been designed to meet the high quality standards required by 3-A SSI, whose aim is to ensure public health through hygiene equipment. The FSKRDS model is particularly suitable for the Pharmaceutical, Food, and Biotechnology industries and represents the state-of-the-art for these sectors. This disc is entirely made of AISI 316L stainless steel (or other alloys upon request of the client). It’s smooth surface makes it particularly suitable for C.I.P. and S.I.P. treatments to maintain aseptic conditions. PTFE gaskets, which are certified in compliance with FDA and USP class VI, 3-A, and Eu 10/2011 regulations, facilitate the installation in Clamp fittings (sanitary, Tri-Clamp, Tank Connection). The operating pressure modifies the camber of the convex disc only when reverse pressure is reached. Upon reversal, the disc opens completely in a few milliseconds along the score line, thus preventing fragmentation from forming. The FSKRDS disc, with its innovative design, can be used with liquids only and can resist both vacuum and high pressure.
