New large capacity constant temperature / humidity chamber

Unitemp have launched a new constant temperature and humidity chamber which is described as affordable, eco-friendly chamber that caters for the diverse requirements of Industry, Laboratories and Research Facilities. Manufactured by the Japan based ESPEC corporation, this cabinet is designated the LHU-123.
This versatile product has a wide temperature of-20°c - 85°c and a relative humidity range of 40%rh - 95%rh with a temperature of +/-0.5°c and and +/-3%rh. The highly efficient refrigerating system and high quality thermal insulation create a stable chamber environment with a temperature and humidity uniformity of +/-2°c and a +/-6% rh, yet power consumption is just 11.7A.The intuitive control panel is situated beneath the access door. Program operation can be constant or controlled via installed instrumentation. Program operation can be run up to 9 steps per pattern, and can specify ramp time for each step. The digital display shows conditions and remaining time during operation. The LHU-123 model's cross control system lowers the maximum current during operation, reducing the amount of required power.
The humidifier is a sheathed heater, whilst the refrigeration unit is a mechanical air cooled system using eco friendly R404A refrigerant. Built with a stainless steel interior and a loading capacity of 206 litres the inside dimensions are 500mm x 750mm x 590mm, (WxHxD).
Safety features include leakage breaker for power supply, boil dry protector, upper / lower temperature and humidity alarms and watchdog timer. Optional extras are specimen power supply control terminal, inner glass door and castors for ease of movement.
This new chamber complements Unitemps' extensive range of test chambers, plus the company has the expertise to customise chambers to order.
