The project was expertly delivered by Slatter Cricket and Play, Notts Sport’s South licensee, ensuring a premium finish and long-lasting performance.

The new dual-lane practice facility features the ECB-approved Notts Sport Envelope System, designed to replicate the playing characteristics of a well-maintained natural turf pitch. A Three-Year Vision Realised

The development of this project spanned three years, involving detailed feasibility studies, design planning, and cost analysis across multiple potential locations. The chosen site at The Mills presented unique challenges, including restricted access and delicate dry-stone boundary walls. Thanks to precision planning and expert construction, the nets now blend seamlessly into the landscape without compromising the ground’s charm or playing dimensions.
