Notts Sport Cricket South Renews Nets at Hook Norton Cricket Club
Hook Norton Cricket Club, part of Hook Norton Sports & Social Club in Oxfordshire, is celebrating the installation of newly refurbished practise cricket nets by Notts Sport South licensee Slatter Cricket and Play.
The project consisted of a one-lane NGU Envelope System and one-lane NGU NottsBase System upgrade, which were originally installed in 2008. Sixteen years on, the facility has been restored to as new condition – demonstrating the outstanding endurance of Notts Sport cricket systems.
Alex Bennett Director at Slatter Cricket and Play said: “It’s fantastic to see facilities still performing after more than a decade and a half, and even more rewarding to bring them back to peak condition. The refurbishment at Hook Norton is a great example of how Notts Sport systems can be restored for long-term value, ensuring clubs continue to benefit from high-quality practice environments without the need for costly replacements.”
The newly refurbished nets provide a high standard practice space for the club’s junior and senior members alike, helping players at all levels to train effectively and enjoy the game.
Slatter Cricket and Play were the obvious choice when selecting a company to install the nets, as they are experts in the field of cricket, with a long heritage in building cricket and play facilities of genuine quality.
