Stertil-Koni Installs 4-Post Vehicle Lift for Vehicle Technical Services Ltd.
Staffordshire-based Vehicle Technical Services Ltd., a trusted provider of fleet maintenance solutions, has strengthened its workshop capabilities with the installation of a new Stertil-Koni 4-Post Vehicle Lift.
The new ST4250 electro-hydraulic lift replaces an older 4-post ramp, improving reliability and reducing downtime for the busy workshop. It continues to support quick drive-on inspections while giving engineers enhanced access to the underside of vehicles.
The heavy-duty ST4250 provides a 25-tonne lifting capacity and a 9-metre platform length, making it well-suited to the broad mix of commercial vehicles maintained by VTS’s engineers. Stertil-Koni’s surface-mounted, crossbeam-free design ensures completely unobstructed access along the full vehicle length.
To support day-to-day maintenance tasks, the lift is equipped with an LED lighting set for clearer visibility during under-vehicle inspections. The low drive-on height simplifies positioning for low-clearance vehicles, while adjustable platforms allow easy accommodation of vehicles with narrower axle widths.
Engineers benefit from smooth, accurate lifting cycles delivered by an electronically controlled hydraulic system that maintains performance even under uneven loads. Safety is centre to the lift’s design, with a patented mechanical locking mechanism that operates independently of the hydraulics and engages automatically by gravity for maximum reliability.
The lift is operated via Stertil-Koni’s eBright Smart Control System, featuring a full-colour touchscreen that makes operation intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly - helping engineers focus on the job.
