Flux Fire Protection Appointed on Major Primark Extension at White Rose Shopping Centre, Leeds

Flux Fire Protection has been appointed by Lindum Group to deliver the supply and installation of fire rated board encasements to the structural steel frame at the new Primark extension within the White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds.

The project forms part of a significant retail development and will involve the installation of over 1,700 linear metres of fire rated beam and column encasements to achieve the architect's specified 2-hour fire resistance requirement.

Working closely with the Etex team, Flux Fire Protection is assisting with product specification reviews and the development of interface details on site to ensure full compliance with manufacturer requirements and project fire safety standards.

The fire protection package incorporates a range of specialist products including Promat P250 fire protection boards, alongside supporting systems supplied through the wider Etex group.
