Another successful intumescent coatings project completed by the team at Flux Fire Protection at Sheard Packaging in Halifax.

We applied Jotun Steelmaster coatings to this 5,300m2 industrial warehouse extension, providing 60 minutes fire protection to just under 2,000m2 of structural steelwork. The blue Hardtop XP topcoat was selected to complement the client's corporate colour scheme while providing a durable decorative finish.

Huge credit to our applicators who managed to get such a clean finish working alongside exposed metal decking and maintaining programme whilst working in a 24/7 live operating environment.

This 45-acre site produces up to 1 billion litres of soft drinks per year.
