Acoustic & Air Sealing Installers
At Flux Fire Protection, we are dedicated to safeguarding lives and properties through cutting-edge passive fire protection solutions. Based in the UK, we specialize in providing comprehensive services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Among our array of offerings, we take pride in our expertise in acoustic and air sealing, crucial components of effective fire protection systems.
In an environment where noise pollution is a concern, acoustic sealing plays a pivotal role in controlling sound transmission between spaces. By utilising specialised materials and techniques, we ensure that buildings maintain optimal acoustics, offering occupants a peaceful and conducive environment.
Effective air sealing is essential for maintaining the integrity of a building’s structure and enhancing energy efficiency. It involves sealing gaps and penetrations in walls, floors, and ceilings to prevent the uncontrolled flow of air. By minimising air leakage, buildings can maintain consistent temperatures, reduce energy consumption, and improve indoor air quality.

Firestopping & Passive Fire Protection
Compartmentation is a vital component of any buildings fire strategy, forming barriers of resistance in the construction to prevent the spread of flame and smoke both vertically and horizontally. Penetrations through areas such as wall, floor and service riser barriers cause areas of weakness and risk to this strategy. With the help of our competent, highly trained, and independently accredited team of installers, Flux will work in accordance with your requirements to offer the highest levels of safety to the buildings occupants and achieve compliance for the development.
Our extensive range of products will also protect the structural elements of the building to keep the integrity of the load bearing structure in the event of a fire.

Fire Curtains & Cavity Fire Barriers
Fire curtain installers: At Flux Fire Protection, we specialise in the installation of fire curtains / cavity fire barriers, providing an essential component of fire protection systems to keep your property safe from the threat of fire. Our experienced team of professionals uses only the highest quality products and advanced technology to ensure that your property is safeguarded against the risk of fire.
A fire curtain / cavity fire barrier, is critical in preventing the spread of fire through concealed spaces in walls and floors. Our installation services use the latest products, such as FIREFLY fire barriers, which are designed to fit a variety of applications, including steel-framed walls, masonry walls, floors, and ceilings.

Intumescent Painting of Structural Steelwork
Intumescent coatings, often referred to as intumescent paint, is a cost-effective and ideal solution to protect structural steel from the damage caused by fire. Intumescent coatings are designed to react to heat by expanding and creating a charred insulating layer around the substrate to protect the steel and it’s load bearing properties in the event of a fire.
Being IFC accredited intumescent paint contractors, Flux Fire Protection can offer intumescent paint to steelwork for times ranging from 30 to 120 minutes. We can offer our own specifications for a more cost-effective approach or work to our clients specification.
Our team of dedicated employees work across the country offering intumescent paint services in Yorkshire, The Midlands, the North East and beyond.

Fire Rated Steel Encasement
Flux Fire Protection offer IFC third-party accredited fire rated beam encasement services as part of our drylining package to help improve the fire-rating and aesthetic appeal of structural steel. Working closely with our clients we can provide a number of beam encasement and fire-boarding solutions to fit the needs of your project.
We have experience working in a number of sectors from commercial properties to residential. We use only the highest-quality materials such as British Gypsum, Knauf and Siniat to ensure that our work is of the highest standard and meets specification.

Fire Compartmentation Surveys
At Flux Fire Protection we have highly skilled and qualified staff, capable of carrying out fire compartmentation surveys. A fire compartmentation survey (also know as fire stopping survey) helps to assess the building for its compliance in containing both fire and smoke and protecting individuals and their escape routes. When a Fire Risk Assessment has been conducted on your premises, one of the resulting actions could be an instruction to undertake a Fire Compartmentation Survey. This is usually the result of numerous breaches in compartmentation being highlighted within the premises, posing a high level of danger in the event of a fire.

Fire Door Inspections
Fire doors are an essential part of a building’s Passive Fire Protection, ensuring that the building is compartmentalised and helping to prevent the spread of fire and smoke, allowing occupants time to escape.
Our team of Certificated Fire Door Inspectors are fully qualified and have been assessed by Exova Warringtonfire, an independent third party. We check and test over 25 individual factors and components of your fire doors and issue a certificate of compliance, you will be provided with a detailed report on the condition and functionality of each fire door, highlighting any necessary remedial work.
