About us
1st Aid Fire – Professional Fire Risk Assessments Since 2006
At 1st Aid Fire, we are specialists in providing comprehensive, compliant, and affordable Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) across London and the South of England. Since 2006, we’ve built a strong reputation for professionalism, reliability, and service quality, supporting landlords, housing providers, businesses, schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial property owners in meeting their legal fire safety duties.
Why Choose Our Fire Risk Assessments?
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Fire Safety Act 2021, and the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, it is a legal requirement for the “responsible person” to ensure a suitable and sufficient Fire Risk Assessment is in place. Failure to comply can lead to heavy fines, prosecution, or – most importantly – increased danger to life.
We make compliance simple. Our assessments are clear, practical, and easy to follow, with a risk rating and prioritised recommendations tailored to your premises. We don’t just point out problems; we guide you on the best, most cost-effective solutions to stay safe and compliant.
What Our Assessments Cover
Each FRA carried out by 1st Aid Fire is thorough and site-specific, typically including:
Premises Inspection – Identifying hazards, ignition sources, and combustibles.
Fire Detection & Alarms – Reviewing suitability, coverage, and maintenance.
Emergency Lighting – Checking compliance, testing, and escape illumination.
Escape Routes & Signage – Ensuring safe egress and clear, visible signage.
Fire Doors – Inspecting condition, integrity, closers, and seals.
Extinguishers & Firefighting Equipment – Confirming provision, siting, and servicing.
Management Systems – Reviewing logbooks, training, drills, and policies.
Significant Findings – Detailed recommendations with timescales for action.
Overall Risk Rating – Transparent summary with compliance status and rationale.
