GRP Grating

We offer a range of GRP grating including Open Mesh Grating, Solid Top, Pultruded Grating and Phenolic Grating with all associated clips and fixings. We stock a variety of sizes, thicknesses and colours, with the supply of more niche requirements available upon request. GRP Grating is supplied as standard panels or can be fabricated to your requirements.

GRP Open Mesh Grating

A superior option to many metal gratings, anti-slip GRP open mesh grating is chosen for it's lightweight, corrosion and fire resistant properties. We supply both standard GRP open mesh and mini mesh grating

GRP Mini Mesh Grating

GRP Solid Top Grating

Comprised of open mesh grating finished with a solid top plate to give a closed top grating. Commonly used to provide an anti-slip surface in both industrial and commercial applications

GRP Phenolic Grating

Phenolic GRP Grating is manufactured using a phenolic resin, making it the ideal choice when fire, high temperature, low smoke, and toxicity levels are critical parameters. It is therefore often specified for applications where safety is paramount, such as Oil & Gas, Rail and public safety areas such as fire escapes.

GRP Pultruded Grating

Pultruded grating is made of pultruding structural ‘I’ and ‘T’ bearing bars, which provides greater strength than open moulded grating. It is widely used where larger spans are required as it can handle significant loads. This also makes it a good solution for high traffic areas. It is lightweight and corrosion resistant and requires little to no maintenance. Additionally, the gritted top provides an anti-slip surface that is beneficial for a wide range of applications.

Open Mesh Steel Grating

We offer a range of different metal gratings and products. Open mesh steel grating is stocked as 6m x 1m mats or can be fabricated to suit. We can offer a full design and fabrication service including any cut outs, kicl flat, hinged panels etc.

Forge Welded Open Mesh Steel Grating

Forge Welded Open Mesh Steel Grating is a very strong and robust product which is excellent for industrial applications such as platforms, landings and walkways. Twisted steel bars are pressed into the bearing bars and welded; this gives the product a high loading capacity as the bearing bars do not weaken due to the welding process. The twisted bars also create an anti-slip effect, making the product ideal for a range of different applications.

Steel Stair Treads

A strong and robust steel stair tread, commonly used for platform or fire escape stairs. We hold a range of stock sizes or can supply specific to your requirements.

GRP Plate, Treads & Nosing

We have a wide range of gritted, anti-slip products which provide a safe, non-slip surface underfoot including GRP Plate, Stair Tread Covers, Stair Nosing and Tactile Paving. We also offer GRP Translucent Plate.

GRP Gritted Anti-Slip Plate

GRP Anti-Slip Plate is a lightweight, non-corrosive product and can withstand extreme weather conditions, making it ideal for a range of environments. The plate is available with a fine or medium gritted top, depending on the application. The gritted plate provides an effective anti-slip surface and can be used to create a safe walkway in hazardous environments. It is commonly used in many applications, such as: walkways, stair treads, landing areas, ramps, piers, pontoons and many more. It can also be used to create a solid/closed top surface on the top of existing open mesh grating. Made from Isophthalic Polyester, with phenolic options available.

GRP Anti-Slip Stair Tread Cover

GRP Anti-Slip Stair Tread Covers are a fast and cost effective way to create a solid top surface on pre-existing stairs. Made from gritted GRP plate, they provide an anti-slip surface, improving safety in busy footfall areas. They are lightweight, durable, corrosion and weather resistant. They are quick and easy to install on to existing stairs, making them the perfect cost-effective safety solution.

Safety: A hard wearing quartz gritted surface provides a high level of slip resistance R13 slip resistance according to DIN 51130). GRP gritted plate also gives a high PTV reading, indicating extremely low slip potential.
Standard Colours: Black, Black with yellow nosing, black with white nosing. Other colours are available upon request.
Standard Size: 345mm x 55mm. We offer a cut to length service.

GRP Decking Systems

GRP decking systems offer a quick and cost-effective access solution to suit a range of different applications, including platforms, walkways, and decked terraces.

WPC Decking

Wood Plastic Composite Decking is an alternative product to traditional wood decking. Made from a blend of wood and plastic, the decking is manufactured using 90% recycled material. The decking is durable, anti-slip, and unlike wood it will not splinter. This makes it a safe and reliable option for outdoor decking in gardens, balconies and on terraces. Unlike wood, WPC composite decking does not rot or require treatment. It is therefore a low maintenance and cost-effective solution. The decking has a hidden and secure grooved fixing system. This gives a seamless design finish, but also allows the boards to naturally expand and contract.

40mm Pultruded Plank Decking

Pultruded Plank Decking is a 40mm thick Isophthalic Polyester resin GRP decking panel. It has a tongue and groove joint / male and female connectors along the length of the panel that creates a sealable joint between the lengths of the profile. The decking provides a solid top with a gritted anti-slip surface, offering a safe solution for busy foot traffic areas. It is commonly used for pedestrian bridge decking, GRP walkways, and mezzanine floors. It is also commonly used in the water industry where there is a need to prevent water penetration e.g., wastewater treatment plants.

GRP Profiles

GRP profiles are manufactured using a glass reinforced isophthalic polyester resin. GRP is lightweight yet strong, with GRP profiles stronger than steel alternatives on a strength to weight ratio basis. This allows for easy installation, requiring no heavy lifting equipment and offering a versatile solution suitable for many applications. The lightweight nature of GRP also makes it the ideal material for projects and structures where weight is critical. We offer a wide range of profiles in various sizes and colours including:

Our experienced and professional install team are on hand to install any of your GRP requirements.
