Plastic Fabrication Technology
Plastic process vessels offer several key advantages over metal alternatives, including lower cost and reduced weight, along with excellent durability and impact strength. They also provide superior resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and abrasion, making them a reliable and long-lasting option in demanding industrial environments.
Industrial Sectors & Applications
ERG Plastic Fabrication serves a wide range of global process industries—including water treatment, food production, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, specialty and general chemicals, waste handling, fisheries, ventilation, energy, and metal processing—by supplying an extensive assortment of plastic process equipment. Typical applications include cylindrical, rectangular, and sectional tanks for water and chemicals, fume hoods and chemical scrubbers (including V-tex® units), dosing cabinets, drip trays, bunding, and complete plastic pipework and ducting systems.
Production Facilities
ERG Plastic Fabrication Ltd operates from a 3-acre site in Slinfold, West Sussex, where its facilities can accommodate the manufacture and trial assembly of large plastic vessels up to 4 m in diameter and around 10 m in height, including sectioned designs. Alongside standard fabrication tools, the site features specialist infrared welding equipment for producing high-purity, contamination-free joints in materials such as PolyPro, PVDF, ECTFE and HDPE, ideal for pharmaceutical and food applications. The company’s highly skilled team is led by fabricators with over 20 years’ experience, and all technicians hold relevant safety and industry qualifications, including CSCS certification, confined-space training, 4D water-site work permits, and Category 1 welding accreditation.
