Gases

Humidity & Dew Point

There are many applications for humidity sensors and transmitters, including monitoring and controlling the relative humidity and temperature of a controlled environment; industrial process monitoring, food and pharmaceutical manufacturing, industrial dryers and humidifiers, climate chambers and cleanrooms. For continuous high humidity environments, heated options are available for the capacitive thin film sensing element.

An important humidity-related parameter is the dew point temperature. The sensors we use measure not only dew points, relative humidity, and temperature, but also frost points, ppm volume concentrations, and mixing ratios. The dewpoint is crucial to monitoring and controlling compressed air systems, industrial drying processes, as well as mushroom farming.

Moisture in Oil

In insulation, lubrication, transmission, and hydraulic oils, these sensors measure dissolved moisture. Real-time monitoring of water activity, temperature and ppm water content enables predictive and preventative maintenance to minimise the risk of damage to machines or transformers. Moisture Meters - Application Specific

Using our moisture sensors, you can measure the water content of biomass and many other solids, such as building materials - powders and blocks, cereal grains, beans, grass, leather and paper, and humidity levels as well. A discrete manual sampling method or an in-line measurement device that takes continuous samples and generates readings can be used to accomplish this. Heat and electricity can be generated from solid biomass using in-line measurement. The continuous monitoring of moisture levels allows process optimisation, maximum efficiency, and cost reduction.

Wireless Monitoring Control Solutions

Wireless sensors can measure temperature, RH%, CO2, pressure, and air velocity, as well as for specific applications such as horticulture, poultry, and livestock that require unique sensors, e.g. LUX, plant weight, and ammonia. Using sensors and a base station, a wireless monitoring solution can monitor a large number of indoor and outdoor devices. Air Velocity & Mass Flow

Air Velocity transmitters, probes, and hand-held meters are based on hot-film anemometers. Despite its low mass and fast response time, the sensing element exhibits high sensitivity even at very low air speeds and is resistant to polluting and corrosive agents due to its thin film manufacturing process. Among the applications are HVAC with accurate and reliable performance up to 20 m/s, industrial process control up to 40 m/s over a wide temperature range, and clean room flow control with high accuracy down to 0.15 m/s.
