Notts Sport Partners with Tree-Nation to Contribute to Global Reforestation Efforts

Notts Sport, a leading surfacing solution supplier, is proud to partner with Tree-Nation, a global platform dedicated to reforestation. Through this association, Notts Sport will be planting trees to help reduce its carbon footprint.

As part of this commitment, Notts Sport has pledged to plant one tree per 100 sqm of carpet provided that month, starting in Madagascar to create 'The Forest of Notts Sport'.

"We believe in taking meaningful steps to protect our planet," said Duncan Bennett, CEO of Notts Sport, "By planting trees, we are not only offsetting our carbon emissions but also contributing to the restoration of important ecosystems."

Tree-Nation's platform facilitates the planting of trees across continents, from Africa to South America. Each tree planted through the platform is verified, and the company provides regular updates on the progress of each reforestation project.

As a company committed to reducing its environmental impact, Notts Sport continuously explores new ways to integrate sustainability. This partnership with Tree-Nation underscores the company's dedication to achieving its climate goals and supporting efforts to create a greener, more sustainable future for all.

Notts Sport have donated 164 trees, 550sqm, equivalent to two tennis courts this month. Tree-Nation will plant the Rhizophora Mucronate trees in the Eden Reforestation Project, Madagascar. This number of trees absorb approximately 8.2 tonnes of CO2 during their lifetime.
