Fire safety training

Fire Safety Training for Care Providers – 27th August at Findon Manor, Worthing Fire safety in the Care Sector isn’t just a regulatory requirement – it’s a life-saving necessity. That’s why Adena Fire Safety Services is delivering dedicated fire safety training for Care Providers (relevant to staff in Care Homes, Sheltered Accommodation, Supported Living and Specialised Housing). This will be held on Wednesday 27th August 2025, and hosted at the elegant Findon Manor in Worthing.

This one-day event includes two sessions, each limited to 12 delegates, ensuring a focused and hands-on learning experience. The course is specifically designed for care providers, with an emphasis on Progressive Horizontal Evacuation (PHE) – the core evacuation strategy for safely moving residents away from immediate danger while remaining within a care setting.

Each session includes classroom-based instruction covering key responsibilities, legislation, and evacuation protocols, alongside live-fire extinguisher training that gives delegates the opportunity to safely handle and discharge fire extinguishers under expert supervision. This is a great way to learn, and adds an element of fun to a serious subject.

The training is delivered by seasoned Fire Service professionals with extensive experience in advising care providers and businesses across the public and commercial sectors. Their real-world knowledge brings the sessions to life and ensures delegates leave confident in their role as Fire Wardens or responsible persons.

Ideal for team leaders, compliance officers, designated Fire Wardens and all other staff, offers sector-specific expertise tailored to the demands of residential care settings.

Cost: £125 + VAT per delegate.
