PCB Assembly

FermionX has an extensive PCB assembly service capability which allows us to successfully support from basic to the most complex circuit design, tailored to suit your requirements.

Box Build & Final Assembly Services

Our box build service provides bespoke solutions to fit your needs. From simple PCB and cable-fitted sub-assemblies, to integrated enclosures with electromechanical assembly, we are experienced in all aspects of electronic manufacturing.

Our box build service provides a completed product build to customer specification including:

Review of all documentation (including BOM, critical components, drawing tolerances, build documents, test specifications and documentation controls)
Testing/programming specifications
Traceability requirements (including serial number recording and traceability to key component level)
We can also support on product branding and packaging to fit global distribution requirements

Design for Manufacture (DfM)

Design for manufacture (DfM) is the process where engineers review customer product designs to help simplify it for manufacturing.

Reviewed during the initial stages of the project, it can include optimising its dimensions, materials, as well as functionality. This can help reduce costs and make the project more efficient.

At FermionX we offer electronics design for manufacture support. We have in-house engineers who are able to offer advice and feedback on your projects. We also work with a trusted network of designers who can further support your concept through to production.

Quality Control in Electronics Manufacturing

FermionX has a dedicated Quality Control team on site. Using our intuitive quality management system and working closely with our production team, we’re able to identify, track and resolve any defects found.

FermionX can provide complete traceability of purchased, free issue or in house manufactured materials and products − individually or at batch level visibility. Offering assurances to customers who operate in critical environments, such as electronic medical device manufacturing or manufacturing for defence products.

Our Logistics & Distribution

At FermionX the management of the final stage of product delivery is crucial. We work with a network of trusted logistics partners both in the UK and offshore. Our suppliers are on hand to minimise any interruption to your production schedule and delivery process by streamlining conversations.

Our flexible product delivery helps ensure supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times. We support shipping to production lines, centralised warehouses, or direct to end-users.

Our shipping and warehouse team are proficient at export documentation requirements and freight coordination. We can provide guidance on documentation necessary for certain markets.

Sales & Aftercare Support

Our sales and aftercare team have a dedicated account manager who will work closely with you to fully understand your technical requirements through clear communication before on-boarding the job.

During each step of the process, the team will ensure targets are met and will also be on hand to answer any queries related to your account.
