The Flex Base wireless control system offers a practical and economical alternative to traditional hardwired pendants, eliminating the limitations they impose. Designed to be robust, durable, and lightweight, these controls are perfectly suited for lifting applications such as chain hoists and small cranes. The ergonomically designed Flex Base transmitter is available in 4, 6, 8, or 12-button configurations and is supplied with either an MRX or Flex Base receiver to provide a complete, ready-to-use solution.

Each Flex Base system includes two transmitters and one receiver, ensuring quick replacement and maximised operational uptime. The 4- and 6-button transmitters are matched with the compact MRX receiver, while the 8- and 12-button versions are supplied with the Flex Base receiver.

This lightweight and adaptable receiver can be securely installed on a control panel or mounted directly onto a hoist without affecting balance or system performance. Suitable for a wide range of applications, it delivers reliable operation while maintaining overall efficiency. Its advanced Voltage Select feature automatically recognises and adjusts to the control voltage from three available power supply ranges — 9–36 VDC, 24–48 VAC, and 48–240 VAC — providing maximum flexibility and straightforward installation across different setups.

Our customer required two systems at very short notice, so our team went above and beyond to deliver within just a few days to meet their deadline.

We supplied two custom-built control panels, each fully equipped with inverter drives and radio control systems.

These were specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the Misia chain hoists the customer had previously purchased.

We were commissioned to modernise the power supply system for four cranes running on a single gantry. Over time, the original setup had deteriorated, affecting overall performance. Our team promptly removed and replaced the outdated system, ensuring the company’s production continued without interruption.

By coordinating closely with the customer’s operational schedule, we kept downtime to an absolute minimum and maintained full productivity throughout the project. The upgrade delivered a notable improvement in both the efficiency and safety of the cranes.

Following a fire, we were appointed by the insurer to complete a full electrical rewire of an overhead crane. This involved replacing all cabling, festoon systems and junction boxes, along with designing, building and commissioning a brand-new control panel.

The new panel was engineered with inverter drives on every motion and upgraded from a traditional pendant to a radio control system, giving operators greater flexibility and improved control during operation.

This modernisation has significantly enhanced the company’s productivity, with all crane motions upgraded from single-speed to dual-speed through the new inverter drive technology. The smoother performance has also delivered improved safety and more precise control within the customer’s production environment.

A customer’s 10-tonne wire rope hoist required a load rope replacement due to wear and tear. Our team completed this critical maintenance work efficiently and carefully, ensuring the hoist was returned to full working order with minimal disruption.

The new load rope has helped prolong the equipment’s service life while enhancing both safety and overall performance in the customer’s operations.

For one of our clients, we supplied and delivered a free-standing gantry system, complete with runway beams and a suitable hoist unit. Our team then installed the gantry and runway in the specified location and carried out full commissioning.

The entire system was thoroughly tested to ensure it complied with all relevant specifications and industry standards, providing the client with a dependable, fully operational solution for their material handling requirements.
