Shortage of space for the storage of items such as tissue blocks, microscope slides, pharmacy records and other reports is an increasing problem for many NHS Trusts. In addition retrieval of these items can often prove an inefficient use of staff time.
Now LTE are able to offer a cost effective off-site storage and retrieval service allowing users to free up valuable space whilst also increasing staff productivity.
Centrally located, LTEs 40,000 square feet facilities offer many features to ensure the security of your archive. These include Security fencing, round the clock CCTV monitoring, intruder alerts and fire protection.
Retrieval of samples is facilitated by access controlled inventory management software, which also provides full traceability of items throughout the entire period of their storage.
Further services available include storage at defined conditions of both temperature and humidity, with continuous monitoring and recording of storage conditions.
