Forklift Truck Training Across Essex, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire
Here at DC Training Services Ltd, we offer forklift training courses by our RTITB trained and NORS registered trainer that complies with the Approved Code of Practice and NORS guidelines. We work with warehouses and businesses across Peterborough to train operatives in a flexible, and safe manner. It's vital to ensure any operatives are qualified and hold suitable certification.

Novice Forklift Training
Training takes between 1 and 3 days dependent on the type of truck required.
Forklift, VNA, reach truck, counterbalance - 3 days novice
PPT and stacker trucks - 1 day novice
We will go through training videos and theory work, health and safety, practical training and finally, the practical test and certification.
Refresher Forklift Training
Refresher training is for operatives looking to renew a licence of 3 years or more.
We will go through training videos and theory work, health and safety, practical training and finally, the practical test and certification.
Experienced Forklift Training
Experienced forklift training and certification is for operatives who have been using equipment without/expired licences.
We will go through training videos and theory work, health and safety, practical training and finally, the practical test and certification.
Conversion Forklift Training
A conversion training course is perfect for operators who have previously trained or worked on another type of truck and now require certification on another.
First Aid Training Across Essex, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire
Here at DC Training Services Ltd, we offer First Aid Courses conducted by our registered and certificated trainer that complies with the Approved Code of practice and HSE guidelines. We work with warehouses and businesses across Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas to train candidates in a flexible and safe manner.
Our First Aid Courses are specially designed to help trainees learn new skills and knowledge or refresh existing first aid skills. Please Note at this moment in time, training is only being offered to companies, and we cannot facilitate private training for individuals.
Foundation First Aid Training
• This course is for smaller workforces who do are not required to have a HSE compliant First Aider on site (low risk).
• This is a shorter course for those with limited time, or just needing an overview of First Aid. The course is a confidence builder covering essential First Aid
• 1 Day - 4 hours
• Each delegate will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.
• Interactive workshop course with practical elements•No formal tests

• First aid at work is a nationally recognised certificate.
• Suitable for high risk and large workplaces, with machinery and manual work.
• Low risk workplaces.
• 3 Days – 8 hours each day
• This course is Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Compliant
• Each delegate will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.
• Each delegate will receive a workbook and manual.
• Interactive workshop course with practical elements
• No formal tests

Our director is an RTITB-trained, NORS-registered MHE instructor, and our first aid courses are led by a fully certified trainer following HSE and Approved Code of Practice guidelines.
We help employers and employees stay safe and compliant with onsite novice and refresher training courses, fully aligned with RTITB, NORS, and the Approved Code of Practice L117.

MHE Courses Delivered by a RTITB Trained & NORS Registered Trainer
Whether your staff are complete novices or experienced operators, DC Training Services Ltd provides in-house MHE training courses fully compliant with the Approved Code of Practice and NORS/RTITB guidelines. We typically travel across Essex, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire, offering the first 30 miles from CO9 3LD free, with additional travel available at cost. All training is delivered onsite to ensure a smooth, efficient day.
Standard training hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, but we can arrange sessions at alternative times to fit your business needs and staff shift patterns.
