Passive Fire Protection Services

At Fire immunity we offer a wide range of different passive fire protection services to meet any needs or requirements you might have for protecting your home or business. So what is passive fire protection? For any fire protection strategy to be successful passive fire protection must be prioritised. Passive fire protection’s goal is to reduce the financial damage a fire might cause but most importantly safeguard human lives. So how does PFP do this?

PFP will contain a fire within individual compartments to reduce the risk of spreading faster through the building.
Allows Individuals within the building to use escape routes by directing fire away from them.

Structural Steel Protection

Intumescent Paints

High temperatures interact with water and solvent-based intumescent paints. Typically, an intumescent paint appears as a standard paint coating, but when subjected to extreme heat or fire, it begins to transform into a fire-resistant carbon foam that can expand up to 50 times its original volume, offering insulation to the load-bearing structure.

In contrast to fire protective sprays, this intumescent paint provides an excellent solution for fireproofing steelwork while maintaining an aesthetically appealing finish. This service is particularly beneficial for warehouse facilities featuring exposed steel beams.

Fire Protective Sprays

Steel Protective Boards
