Adjustable Pallet Racking
All types of pallet racking increase storage capacity of the stored goods, by using this storage solution you can increase your storage density in a cost-effective way. It is also possible to add lower level picking points for loose storage items. The great advantage of adjustable pallet racking is its flexibility, coming in almost endless variety of sizes and weight capacity as well as being able to be reconfigured to suit your needs as things change.
OutRacking can help you design your warehouse or storage area to optimise your storage capability and ensure that you get the right pallet racking system for your needs. OutRacking works closely with manufacturers and can offer many varieties of racking systems. These systems can be fitted by OutRacking with one of our SEMA qualified teams, working hard to fulfill your storage requirements.

Longspan Racking & Shelving
This racking can be adapted to any type of unit load and comes in a variety of sizes to suit your needs. Longspan shelving can be integrated into heavy duty pallet racking to allow for a low level picking area underneath bulk storage.
Normally its easy to install and can come with adjustable shelf heights and variable number of shelves as required.
Longspan can also be used as part of a multi level structure making it possible for this type of racking to increase in height without compromising performance and allowing hand picking to be easy without the aid of steps or Mobile platforms.
With this type of racking systems they are normally boarded with chip board but there are options to have gravel drop inserts, making it suitable for food storage and for freezer/cold storage areas.

Cantilever Racking
Cantilever Racks consist of vertical columns with adjustable cantilever arms, which the products are placed across, these arms can be set at different heights depending on your requirements. This system can be used either as a single sided arrangement or the system can be utilised by attaching arms to both sides.
This racking system can be perfect for use outside because of its hardwearing structure as well as indoor use. These bespoke systems can be manufactured to many different specifications for light weight storage to the very largest. There’s even a domestic version for office supply’s.
At OutRacking we can design the perfect system to meet your exact needs and integrate it into your existing warehouse operation. We can offer a huge range of uprights and cantilever arms with numerous yield strengths.

This safety product can be insisted upon by a safety audit as a measure to protect staff and visitors to your site.

Its also relatively easy to install reducing the installation costs.
Its flexibility means it is less prone to damage compared to other options, so is longer lasting and low maintenance.

Barriers & Handrails
There are many different types of barriers and it is essential to pick the right one for you to ensure it does the right job some barries may be unsuitable for environments such as freezer units where there are restricted drilling depths and where there is the possibility of sublevel damage to your floor. Here at OutRacking we can advise you on which type would best suit your needs. We can supply and fit all type of barriers making sure that the floor is suitable and the installation is correct.

Column Guards
Column guards are a great way to prevent accidental damage from trucks operating within the racking.
Most common damage is caused within the first metre of the ground where trucks have either reversed into them or frames have been hit by trucks with restricted vision due to loads.
Column guards are the best way to minimise these damages and can significantly reduce repair and maintenance bills.
Being easy to fit and very hard wearing these items are a cost effective measure against damages.
There are many different varieties of Column guards, it is important to get the right one as an ill fitted guard will do very little and not all guards will fit around the foot of all racking systems.

Racking Inspections
Why Racking Inspections are needed?

Racking Repairs
This reduces the maximum weight that can be stored, thus making it unfit for use and a possible danger to your employees. Damage to racking can contribute to a weakened structure, resulting to a possible racking collapse. There are many factors that contribute to an unsafe pallet racking system, such as missing floor fixing bolts or locking pins. An over-loaded level by putting too much weight at a single point can damage the beams and of course careless driving of forklift operators can damage both beams and the framework.
