The Optimum 200 - Wheelchair Stair Lift
The unit is supplied with a platform compatible with Part M of the Building Regulations, although smaller platforms are available should space be a dictating factor. The Optimum 200 is probably the slimmest on the market, whilst also aesthetically pleasing and very reliable. The platform lift has been designed to transport the occupant in comfort along a straight or curved path.
The Optimum 200 is a well established design which has proven reliability for the carrying of various designs of wheelchairs and their occupants, to a maximum capacity of 300kg. This unit is compliant with the Machinery Directive and BS6440.

Cabin Platform Lift - Optimum 1500 from Ability Lifts
The Optimum 1500 cabin platform lift has a standard cabin of 1100mm wide x 1400mm deep with traditional automatic telescoping landing doors on both the cabin and each landing.
The Optimum 350 Open Style Platform Lift - 0.25m to 1m travel
The Optimum 350 is a high quality and reliable hydraulic platform lift designed to work internally or externally for heights from 25cm to 1m. It comes complete with it own self supporting structure and has a side opening gate at the upper level. Optimum 350 has a safety ramp fitted to the platform that will automatically fold up when the lift moves. It is also available with an optional lower gate.

The Optimum 400 platform lift is a self-supporting and highly reliable hydraulic platform lift, especially made for external use with a complete glazed or solid panel structure. These units are compliant with building regulations. We are also pleased to offer adjacent entry if required.
Home Platform Lift - Optimum 500 Homelift from Ability Lifts
The Optimum 500 Home Platform lift is available in 3 different sizes, with personalisation options to customise your platform lift with details such as glass walls, a range of different colour finishes to the shaft panels and landing doors, and different floor finishes, all designed to allow you to make it your lift. The smallest size platform is designed for 2 people and has a capacity of 250Kg, which equates to just under 40 Stones. The medium size platform allows more space on the platform with a platform size of 805mm wide x 880mm deep. The third platform size in the range which will take a standard wheelchair has a platform size of 805mm wide X 1080mm deep, again with a capacity of 250Kg.

Optimum 2500 large capacity lift from Ability Lifts
We offer a range of platform sizes, for options within healthcare, retail facilities, schools and other venues, both new and existing, that may need to accommodate larger or heavier loads. The increased platform size is complimented by the option of having landing doors that measure up to 1300mm wide, allowing for increased access to the platform for loads such as beds and larger powered wheelchairs.
The lift can comply with Class III Health Care regulatory sizes, making it the ideal solution for transporting beds and their attendants in care homes and similar care facilities. To assist with entering and exiting the lift, there is the option of a hold open facility, which makes transporting larger, more challenging loads a lot easier.
All of this, added to the benefit of just a 110mm recess in the lower floor, make the lift the most flexible and cost effective vertical platform lift on the market.

The Optimum 150 External Platform Lift
The Optimum 150 is the ultimate space saving platform lift enclosure, situated externally with the entrances in the internal wall. We will provide you with a fully weatherproofed, secure and insulated external structure fitted with the Optimum 100 platform lift inside. We construct for you a substantial steel structure that is anchored to the wall and finished in insulated Microrib Kingspan to a colour of your choice. Generally all we ask is that your builder provides the entrance apertures and the concrete plinth.
