Scaffold Design & Drawing Services

Scaffold Design & Drawing Services

Scaffold design is at the core of our business and our scaffold design drawings and calculation works are founded on many years of experience. We couple this with the use of the latest CAD, frame analysis and wind loading analysis software complying with the latest codes to produce accurate and detailed design drawings and calculations for scaffolding, false work and formwork.
As a professional and competent design service, we are fully insured with Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Employers Liability information members of the NASC and associate members of the Scaffolding Association.
We produce scaffold design drawings in full colour, in sizes ranging from A4 to A0. The drawings can be plotted in house, or sent electronically in secure .pdf format. The designs can also be customised to show customers own branding and details.
Scaffold Inspections & Survey Services

Scaffold Inspections & Survey Services

It's essential that scaffolding is thoroughly inspected by a competent and experienced professional to ensure structural stability and safety.
A scaffold inspection performed by Access Design & Safety is as comprehensive as possible. We perform a thorough series of checks to determine the stability of the scaffolding and whether or not it is fit for purpose. It begins with a customer liaison to ensure that we understand the design and goal of the project implicitly. Then our team of qualified and experienced personnel begin the process of inspection.
Over the course of the inspection, we take notes and measurements in order to gain the best possible picture of the overall condition of the scaffolding. Then, we compile that information into a full report which we walk through with our clients. This ensures everyone is on the same page - we make sure they understand the current state of their construction, and we can make suggestions for improvements based on our extensive experience.
Scaffolding Design Check

Scaffolding Design Check

At Access Design & Safety, we're experienced in providing thorough checks of a wide range of industrial and commercial engineering designs. We check designs to the latest codes of practice including TG20:13 so you can be confident in a design that is safe, practical, and feasible.
Whether it's working with our own scaffolding designs or the plans drawn up by another designer, we have the skills necessary to provide a comprehensive design check. We'll examine every element of the design in the context of your project to ensure it's truly fit for purpose and complies with any necessary legislation.
We take a complete view of the project and all calculations will be checked carefully for accuracy.
Everything is accounted for, including the geographical placement of the scaffolding and the prevailing wind load. A report will be generated, allowing you to make an informed decision about your next steps.
Site Surveys

Site Surveys

Before scaffolding can be erected, it's important that a thorough site survey is carried out. Access Design & Safety are professionals in conducting site surveys for the purpose of gathering accurate information for temporary works designs of all scales, from minor domestic applications through to large-scale commercial applications.
We provide thorough site surveys which begin with an in-depth consultation. We learn more about your project and the goals you are hoping to achieve. This allows us some context for the surveying process and ensures we're able to tailor any suggestions directly to our clients' needs.
It's best to have as complete a site survey done as possible before a project starts; however, Access Design & Safety are also well suited to providing site surveys to current or as built projects if needs be. We tailor our service entirely to our clients. Every step of the process is photographed and documented, allowing us to gather all of the information needed to provide you with the best design solution.

Residential

Residential / Royal Victoria Hotel

DESIGN BRIEF:
FACADE SHORE: Drawing design and calculations for a façade shore to the front and side elevation of this former hotel, now being converted to residential properties. The shore was required due to internal works until the building fabric could be underpinned. The client also required a pedestrian walkway to the front, where the shore spanned the public footpath.

Weston Park

DESIGN BRIEF:
ACCESS: To provide drawings and calculations for a mono-pitch C.I. sheeted temporary roof covering lower roofs between two adjacent buildings with monarfex sheeting enclosing the ends.
