Airtightness Solutions
Experience complete internal airtightness and vapour control with our innovative liquid system. The internal surfaces of your walls and roof are crucial for maintaining the airtight line—this is where air tightness tests can succeed or fail. Our liquid-applied vapour control layer (VCL) effectively replaces the need for sheets, laps, and tapes, providing a single seamless airtight coating for enhanced performance.
Vapour Control
What is vapour control? Every occupied building pumps moisture into its own walls — cooking, showers, breathing — as warm, humid air. If that vapour gets into the structure and hits a cold surface, it condenses: damp insulation, mould, rotting timber. A vapour control layer (VCL) is the barrier on the warm side of the construction that manages how much moisture can pass in, so the building fabric stays dry and the insulation keeps working.
Traditionally that meant plastic sheets, laps and tape — with every staple hole and torn lap a leak. Our answer is vapour control paint: Passive Purple and Airtight White are liquid-applied VCLs — sprayed, rollered or brushed into one seamless membrane that is airtight, vapour-controlling and Passivhaus certified. The coloured finish doubles as quality control: if the wall’s purple (or white), it’s sealed.
Weatherproofing
Weatherproofing that is airtight, breathable, and fire-rated. A facade must effectively prevent wind-driven rain from entering, allow water vapour to escape, and maintain the airtight barrier — all simultaneously, for many years. Our liquid-applied weatherproof membranes achieve all three functions in a single application.
Underground Gases Protection
Radon and methane are quiet intruders. Ground gases infiltrate buildings through floors, junctions, and service penetrations — remaining invisible and odourless. In the case of radon, it is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the UK, following smoking. In areas where these gases are present, Building Regulations mandate the installation of a gas barrier — and like any effective barrier, it must be continuous.
Our liquid-applied membranes create this essential continuous barrier by being effortlessly painted or sprayed on. Passive Purple and Airtight White have undergone independent testing to serve as effective radon barriers (with a diffusion coefficient of 3.3×10⁻¹² m²/s in accordance with ISO/TS 11665-13) as well as methane and ground-gas barriers (following ISO 15105). Moreover, these products provide airtightness and vapour control in a single application. They are particularly suited for retrofitting, as installing a traditional sheet gas barrier in an existing building can be challenging and cumbersome.
Waterproofing Solutions
Liquid waterproofing solutions for every wet area of your building. Waterproofing often fails at crucial details — corners, junctions, upstands, and penetrations — precisely where traditional sheets and trays are most vulnerable. Our liquid-applied waterproof membranes cure into a single seamless, flexible barrier that effortlessly flows around intricate details rather than struggling against them.
Our extensive range caters to all aspects of your building: Waterproof Blue liquid DPM is designed for basements, foundations, and floors; Poseidon provides ideal tanking solutions for bathrooms and wet rooms prior to tiling (BS 5385-4 / NHBC compliant); The GOAT is perfect for roofs, terraces, and balconies — ETA-certified with an assessed working life of 25 years; and Passivhaus Brickseal effectively prevents penetrating damp through exposed brickwork.
Roofing & Balconies — Cold-Applied Liquid Roofing Membrane
Flat roofs and balconies often encounter issues at the details — which is why we've eliminated the complications. The GOAT is a cold-applied liquid roofing membrane that effortlessly flows around upstands, outlets, plant bases, pipework, and parapets, curing into a single seamless, flexible, and fully-bonded waterproof layer. No need for a torch, hot works permit, laps, or seams — plus, it comes with an ETA-assessed lifespan of 25 years.
Solar Reflective Roofing — White Roof Coating That Cools the Building
A dark roof during the summer can reach temperatures that are 40–50°C higher than the surrounding air, causing heat to transfer into the rooms below. Our innovative solar reflective roof coating changes this dynamic: The GOAT in solar reflective white effectively bounces solar radiation away before it can convert into heat, significantly cooling the roof surface, reducing the burden on air conditioning systems, and safeguarding the membrane from UV damage and thermal stress. Unlike conventional "solar reflective paints" that merely enhance an ageing felt roof, this solution is more than just a coating — it is a seamless, cold-applied, ETA-certified liquid waterproofing membrane with a remarkable 25-year assessed lifespan.
The GOAT Solar Retrofit — Solar-Reflective Coating for Existing Bituminous Roofs
In the UK, the majority of flat roofs are constructed using bituminous materials such as built-up felt, torch-on, or mineral cap sheets. Many of these roofs are aging, dark, and absorbing heat throughout the summer months. Fortunately, you don't need to strip them away to find a solution. The GOAT Solar Retrofit is a waterborne, solar-reflective cool roof coating that can be directly applied over your existing bituminous roof. This innovative solution reflects sunlight, safeguards the old membrane, and creates a seamless waterproof surface. It's a genuine retrofit, applied cold in just one visit, without the need for torches or the hassle of removal.

Our Solutions Include:
Airtightness Solutions
Our liquid system combines internal airtightness and vapour control in a single application. The inner surfaces of walls and roofs define the building’s airtight layer, where performance is often determined during air testing. Our liquid-applied vapour control membranes replace sheets, joints and extensive taping with one continuous, seamless airtight coating.
Vapour Control Solutions
A vapour control layer (VCL) sits on the warm side of a building assembly to regulate moisture movement, helping protect the structure and maintain insulation performance. Our solution is a liquid-applied vapour control coating: Passive Purple and Airtight White are sprayed, rolled or brushed into a seamless membrane that delivers airtightness, moisture control and Passivhaus-certified performance. The visible finish also provides built-in quality assurance: if the surface is purple or white, the membrane is complete.
Weatherproofing Solutions
Our weatherproofing systems provide airtight, breathable and fire-rated protection in a single application. Building facades must resist wind-driven rain, allow moisture vapour to escape and maintain the airtight barrier for decades. Our liquid-applied membranes deliver all three functions in one seamless, durable coat.
Underground Gases (Radon & Methane) Solutions
Our liquid-applied membranes create a continuous protective barrier through simple spray or brush application. Independently tested, Passive Purple and Airtight White provide certified resistance against radon and methane/ground gases while delivering airtightness and vapour control in the same seamless layer. This makes them particularly effective for retrofit projects, where installing traditional sheet gas barriers can be complex, disruptive and impractical.
Bathroom Waterproofing & Liquid DPM
Liquid-applied waterproofing provides reliable protection across every wet area of a building. Traditional waterproofing systems often fail at complex details such as corners, joints, upstands and penetrations, where sheets and trays can be difficult to seal. Our membranes cure into a seamless, flexible barrier that adapts around intricate details for long-lasting performance.
Airtightness is proven through testing, not promises, and our results are verified on some of the UK’s most demanding projects.
