Reduce energy consumption, minimise wastage and boost your building’s green credentials with energy saving switches by TLJ.With high energy prices and the ever-increasing importance of sustainability, TLJ Energy Saving Switches can control all commonly used appliances including lights, air conditioners and TVs. This is especially useful in the Hotel and Leisure industry.

Offering full connectivity, Energy Saving Switches are compatible with TLJ’s smart locking solutions. There’s even a subtle blue backlight to help residents locate the unit in a darkened room.

TLJ Energy Saving Switches are safe and secure, they cannot be bypassed and are installed in a standard 35mm single gang back box (note installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician).

The TLJ Virtual Intercom is the latest innovation from TLJ, it offers all the features you would expect from an intercom system, with none of the hassle.  

The Virtual Intercom can be installed on any building and requires no monitors, no calling panels, no cabling and no network, just the simple installation of a QR code at the building entrance! 

Visitors then simply scan the code and select the unit to begin a call via one way video – the resident can see the caller and grant or deny access all from their mobile phone. 

It’s packed full of functionality, benefitting both the resident and the building operator and best of all it can be retro-fitted to virtually any property without cabling, disruptive works or substantial capital investment.

TLJ Access Control Wall Readers offer the perfect solution for shared access doors with medium to high levels of traffic, such as main entrances and reception areas.

For when a battery powered lever lock is simply unsuitable, TLJ Access Control Wall Readers are perfect for managing a range of solutions including conventional and automatic doors, lift controllers, car park barriers, pedestrian gates and automated parcel lockers.

The Access Control Wall Reader communicates with a door control unit located inside the building. Flexible and scalable, the system co-ordinates the activity of the door locking device, exit button, emergency break glass and fire alarm interface.

Access Control Readers are loaded with integration capability thanks to our cutting-edge TLJ Cloud software platform, putting control in your hands and massively improving user experience through seamless, contactless operation. 

This hard-wired solution requires professional electrical installation and a 240v mains supply.

TLJ supply a range of physical credentials that utilise RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) to allow convenient access to electronic door locks and associated access control.

These credentials can be key cards, fobs or wrist bands and all can be personalised with your own branding (logo only for fobs and wristbands). We also supply bamboo key cards, which are an excellent eco-friendly alternative to the traditional plastic key card.

RFID credentials are unaffected by electromagnetic fields, so unlike magnetic swipe systems, TLJ key cards, fobs and wrist bands will not be affected by being close to mobile phones, preventing the frustrating locked out scenario.

Physical credentials can also be used with our TLJ writeback technology. This creates a hybrid of an online and offline system, allowing the credential to carry information from an offline door lock back to an online hotspot such as a front entrance or elevator controller. This allows information such as low battery warnings and open records to be accessed without visiting each individual lock.

All TLJ access credentials are waterproof, durable and can be re-used unlimited times.

Lift or Elevator Controllers from TLJ bring enhanced convenience and security to your building. The lift control system offers complete management of floor movements of guests, residents and their visitors. Access permissions to specific floors can be stored on wide range of physical access credentials and mobile technologies.

The Lift / Elevator Controller is loaded with integration capability thanks to our cutting-edge TLJ Cloud software platform, putting control in your hands and massively improving user experience through seamless, contactless operation. They integrate directly with lifts and elevators made by the world’s leading manufacturers, including Schindler, Kone and Otis. 

Smart. Secure. Connected.

All TLJ contactless electronic door locks are self-contained and require no external wiring. Instead, they are powered by 4 x 1.5v AA batteries. Whilst any good quality AA batteries will work in the short term, they are designed for general use and are unlikely to give best results when used with our electronic locks.

For this reason, we’ve created superior TLJ Batteries for electronic locks. They have been designed specifically to power electronic lock sets and are manufactured to the highest industry standards. Independent tests of TLJ Batteries have shown that our unique construction ensures long term power delivery, with a gradual and predicable voltage drop off compared to the ‘cliff edge’ scenario of commercially available batteries. This gradual drop off and a series of built in low power warnings virtually eliminates any possibility of power failure.

Mobile Key by TLJ is the ultimate in smartphone-based access control. Now available with full Hands Free operation, Mobile Key is the answer to those that say a traditional mechanical door key is simpler to use than a digital solution. 

The end user’s smartphone is employed as the access token, securely connecting with the authorised locking device via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

Hands Free takes a technological leap forward by removing the need for user interaction with the Mobile Key app. Beyond an initial security check, the user can journey throughout the building with no further action required. As long as they have the correct permission, locks will automatically open for them when their smartphone is in range.

The Zpad is an online, real-time digital keypad that pairs wirelessly with compatible TLJ electronic smart door locks via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol. Fully self-contained and battery powered, Zpad is typically wall-mounted next to the door and offers combination (PIN) code entry to the lock in question.   

Zpad provides much more however: the combined system of Zpad and TLJ smart door lock connects to an online gateway via Z-Wave wireless communications protocol. In turn, the resident’s digital device (smartphone, tablet or laptop) connects to the gateway via the building’s WiFi. This allows the resident, using a third party web or mobile app, to remotely control their TLJ lock conveniently and securely.

The Bluetooth Solution

A common feature within the hotel and leisure industry, Energy Saving Switches have been featured within our product range for some time. However, it became apparent that even better energy savings could be realised if there was a definitive way of detecting if an occupant was in the room and only supplying power if that was the case.

TLJ have now developed the TLJ-ESD10 which utilises Bluetooth technology and uses the action of the deadbolt in the lock to confirm that an occupant is in the room. The deadbolt can only be supplied from within the room, ensuring that electricity is only supplied when the room is occupied.

Optimised visitor and guest experience

The TLJ Intercom is an integrated door entry solution that offers seamless access through the main entrance of your building, into the lift / elevator and ultimately to apartments, for residents, guests and visitors.

For residents, the external Intercom door entry panel integrates with a TLJ Access Control Wall reader to facilitate secure entry. They can then proceed through the building, into their apartment, as usual. 

The real power of TLJ Intercom is the ability to provide secure access for guests and visitors. Compatible with in–apartment monitor panel and smartphone app, TLJ intercom allows residents to precisely control when, where and who enters your building.

The clean, simple, noTouch solution.

TLJ’s noTouch exit sensor provides touch-free operation of shared access doors, ensuring zero contamination from users’ hands.

Replacing standard mechanical ‘Push to Exit’ buttons, noTouch employs infra-red sensing technology to remotely release the door securing mechanism, e.g. electronic strike or magnetic lock.

The noTouch sensor is fully compatible with the TLJ Access Controller units and features an LED indicator to show successful activation.
