Door Protection Panels & Door Kick Plates
Door protection panels, kick plates and finger plates work perfectly in tandem with the Yeoman Shield Door Edge Protectors. Together, they ensure the entirety of your door is protected from damage.
They protect the vulnerable face of the door and can be installed at either full or half height. Smaller plates can be used to protect just those areas which have a lot of wear and tear such as the middle of the door (push plate) or the bottom of the door (kick plate area).
Yeoman Shield’s 2.0 mm door protection plates have surfaces specifically designed to conceal scratches, scuffs and markings. They are fitted to the face of doors to help keep them in good repair and looking great.
Plates can be shaped to a specific design or can be inlaid with an imagery design or signage. This can be just for added design interest, or to provide useful information such as door numbers or WC signage.
Our door protection panels are fire rated, having been tested to the required current standards. Fire door protection does not affect the integrity of the fire door when installed and can keep fire doors undamaged, reducing expensive maintenance work and keeping buildings safe in the event of a fire.
Cutting door protection plates to size often leaves us with stock residue material. It may be possible to meet your requirements for Push/Mid/Kick and D Plates from such residue, at a reduced cost.
Door Edge Protectors
On top of that, the pushing open of doors with trolleys, equipment and even feet can cause severe damage to the existing door edges. Door edges an easily splinter, posing a health and safety hazard, as well as looking shabby and unclean.
The structural integrity of fire doors is especially important, for the safety of the building and the people inside it. Door edge damage can result in a widening gap to that of between 2-4 mm (as is the industry recommended standard), between the meeting edges or the edges and frame, leading to non-compliance of the fire door.
Architrave & Door Frame Protection
Avoiding such damage can be achieved by fitting a Yeoman Shield Frame/Architrave protector resulting in a hygienic and easy to clean finish.
A range of systems to suit all configurations are available.
Glazing Beads
A damaged Glazing Bead alone can render a fire door not fit for purpose by affecting the seals around the glazing.
Yeoman Shield PVCu clad Glazing Bead Protectors (P) are designed to reduce damage and expensive maintenance costs to the vision panel apertures of fire doors.
The PVCu clad Glazing Bead can be installed to both new fire doors and doors in need of repair. We can tailor the refurbishment of damaged timber beads and fire glass to your requirements by replacing just one bead, both beads or bead/s and glazing.
Fire tested to EN and BS Standard tests. Full details are available on request from our Sales Office.

A lead-lined version is available to be fitted to X-ray & Laser room doors in conjunction with lead-lined door edge protectors. This helps to eliminate gaps that the radiation may seep through.

Wall Protection Panels
FalmouthEx is a 2.0 mm thick wall protection panel and has a fine textured surface to help protect against impact damage, making it one of our most popular forms of wall protection.
HessianEx is also a 2.0 mm thick wall protection panel and has a more defined textured surface which is ideal to protect against damage in areas where décor is important.
Pair your wall protection panels with wall protection strips and corner protection for a complete low-maintenance solution.
Being easily fitted both at new build stage and retrospectively to older walls, both wall panelling sheets protect against bodies and equipment brushing past. Our wall protection plastic is incredibly durable and can be cut to required sizes easily.
Fitted at different heights and widths and cut to any size required, Yeoman Shield’s wall protection sheets can also to be formed to accommodate bends or to go round circular columns.
Wall Protection Strips
Wall protection helps prevent bumps and scrapes and also reduces maintenance requirements, saving both time and money in the long-run by eliminating the need for ongoing repair. Our wall protection strips are a simple, easy to install solution for parts of facilities that either cannot accommodate or do not want to use full wall protection panels.
In a choice of widths and colours, Yeoman Shield wall protection strips can be supplied complete with adhesive tape, making them quick and easy to install.
Imagery
Signage (including Braille) can also be incorporated within certain wall protection rails.
Imagery is where the fun can begin and you can start using your imagination. Inlaid into our wall protection panels, you can create a design or logo of your choice or use one of our standard patterns.
Imagery does the job of a standard wall protection panel with a slice of colour and variety added.
The option of Digital Print onto a Protection Panel is also available allowing photographs and designs to be copied onto a Yeoman Shield Protection Panel using either FalmouthEx, HessianEx or Smooth finishes.
N.B. Please ensure that any photography for digital print can be supplied at a minimum of 150dpi to ensure a quality reproduction.
The imagery wall protection comes with a matching joint cover strip and the fixing option of double-sided tape or Yeoman Shield mastic adhesive.
