Industrial Rolling Shutter Doors

Strong, versatile and very adaptable, rolling shutter doors are without doubt the most popular type of door.
Different fixing arrangements allow rolling shutters to be installed in many ways. The total weight of the door is carried by the side piers, with no special steel or lintel required. Installation is quick and easy.

Insulated Overhead Doors

Combining attractive appearance, energy efficiency and robust construction with ease of operation, the 'U45' insulated overhead door is ideally suited to meet all of today's needs for an industrial door.
Incorporating high-density polyurethane foam-filled sections and full perimeter seals, the 'U45' will provide a thermal performance significantly better than the level required by current building regulations.

Insulated Rolling Shutter Doors

Avon's Insulated Rolling Shutter door has been developed to provide a product suitable for the stringent demands of industry today. An ideal choice for many commercial and industrial applications where in addition to security, thermal or sound insulation is required as the 100mm x 22mm insulated lath sections used to make up the door curtain combine a 'U' value of 0.69 wm/sq/k with a sound reduction of 18db.

Rolling Fire Shutters

An ideal choice for many commercial and industrial applications where the possibilty of fire spread has to be considered. Manufactured from best quality materials they have been designed and tested to comply with the performance requested of B.S.476 PART 22 (1987) by the Fire Insurer's Research and Testing Organisation (FIRTO) & assessed to be capable of a 4 hour rating upto a size of 7.0 mtr X 7.0 mtr.

Glazed Overhead Doors

Filling a need in many applications such as fire stations,car showrooms and where extra light or a picture window effect is required, the Clearview overhead door combines smart clean appearance with long lasting visual appeal. Clearview is a glazed aluminium overhead sectional doors formed from a series of hinged and jointed 40mm thick sections.

Folding Shutter Doors

Suitable for openings with a mixture of vehicle and pedestrian traffic, folding shutters present a clean vertical appearance, their low headroom requirement allowing the maximum door height to be achieved for a given building height.
Manual operation is easy and smooth and the recommended fixing gives a clear opening, with the doors bunched at the side out of harm's way.

Wicket Doors

Wicket doors allow you to access your building through a closed roller shutter when there is no other way to enter.Access through a doorway occupied by a rolling shutter is often cause for concern, especially when there is no alternative route, The use of a "Wicket Door" is an accepted option but one that is frequently overlooked because of the inherent problems created by this type of door in the past.

Security and window shutters are suitable for a variety of applications including retail premises, commercial buildings, hospitals and more. Doors can be arranged to be fitted internally or externally depending on the buidling construction and local authority planning constraints.

Avon's insulated aluminium rolling garage doors are manufactured from powder coated foam filled (CFC free) roll formed aluminium. Combining the convenience of power operation with the advantage of a smooth vertical opening action , you can park right up to the door and the pocket size transmitter enables you to open & close the door from the security of your car.

Overhead Garage Doors

The modern solution for garage doors, insulated, easy to use, meet current safety requirements, a range of colour & styles. The door panel is a twin skin galvanised steel 40mm thick with a high density polyurethane foam fill (CFC free) available in several distinct panel designs, a wood like textured finish, a horizontal grooved panel or a georgian inset panel style.

Steel Hinged Doors, Fire Exits & Plant Room Doors

At Avon Industrial Doors Ltd we can design and install a steel hinged doorset for almost all applictions. Fire exits, personnel entrances, plant rooms and fire proof zones are a few examples. We can engineer the door to fit most opening sizes in either a single or double leaf arrangement and if necessary utilise infill panels above.

Installation, Service & Manuals

Avon uses direct employed labour for all its installation work, teams are provided with fully equipped vehicles , that include generators, ladders etc. All engineers are CSCS card holders showing they are experienced Door System engineers and capable of installing & maintaining all products supplied by Avon Industrial doors. We also employee 2 qualified Electricians able to complete all electrical installations in accordance with current 17th Edition Electrical Regulations.
